The lighting design of the Spanish Leather tour was based on the creation of different layers of light that played with distance, beams illuminating from afar to generate depth and atmosphere. The lighting was a living part of the scenography, interacting with a large translucent cellular polycarbonate wall, diffusing across its surface, filtering through, and creating textures. Much like Guitarricadelafuente’s sonic universe, the visual concept alternated between the intimate and the expansive. Moments of soft shadow, almost confessional, gave way to bursts of light that broke that intimacy and pulled the audience into the emotional core of the show. The lighting design amplified the tour’s message: the fusion of tradition and modernity, of roots and avant-garde.
